This is the latest addition to our CP Helix series. Gain is a healthy 9dBi, but what makes it shine is small form factor. You are not going to find a smaller form factor CP antenna of this gain. This makes it well suited for feeding a parabolic dish or, when space is a problem, or a handheld application is needed, as is the case of the wi-fi repeater on a Phantom Vision 2.

If you choose a LHCP directional antenna like this one,
you can use it with the STOCK PV2 (which mounts LHCP antennas).
If you want to use this for analog video trasmission please select a LHCP omnidirectional antenna like our LHCP pinwheel to be on the trasmitting side.
Also this antenna needs a U.FL to RP-SMA FEMALE extension cable which we do carry in our store.

You won’t be disappointed if you purchase LHCP 2.4GHz Half Sphere Helix 9 dBi!! Prior to my purchase I was consistently only able to get out to 900ft (FCC mode) before my video would go out. Now I’m able to get to 2700ft and I’m sure I can go probably get out further! This is a solid and stable product I use it interchangeably with both the 1.2-1.3-900 pinwheel set (CRASHPROOF) and LHCP 6.5 Turns 12.9dBi. LHCP 6.5 Turns 12.9dBi for distance and 1.2-1.3-900 pinwheel set (CRASHPROOF) for solid stability!
If you’re going to consider this product you’ll want to purchase the LHCP 6.5 Turns 12.9dBi, they work well together and wouldn’t of been hitting my current distance without either! My flying experience has been upgraded as well it is actually fun to fly now!!

This half dome antenna had increased my wifi to 2500 ft solid 640×480
Before I was getting 1000 ft it has more the doubled my range and makes my feed so much smoother thanks for the great product man

I recommend this as I also now receive video up to 1900 ft. Previously video would cut out at 500 to 700 ft.

I have not used my LHCP 2.4GHz Half Sphere Helix 9 dBi yet, I haven’t needed to. Fortunately for me my Phantom 2 now works marvelously with the antenna kit from FPVLR. I’m now getting a mile easily and if I was to add this antenna to the mix I can only imagine the possibilities!!! Do yourself and your Phantom 2 a huge favor and purchase FPVLR antennas, you cannot and will not go wrong!! Buy them now!!! Happy piloting everyone and God bless.

I was lucky enough to find FPVLR in my search for boosting my wifi receiving signal for FPV on my DJI Phantom Vision 2. In my experiences so far, this helical antenna in combination with the clover antenna (as well the 4.5 turn helical for r/c transmission) I have nearly doubled my range!!! Just last night I was flying downtown, where can you can expect a decent amount of interference, and I was able to get control signal as well wifi/fpv signal over 2000 ft away from the controller!!! I imagine in a more remote and intereference free scenario I could get even more. Thats coming up on a half mile!!! Amazing customer service as well. Quick responses and service. I was able to upgrade to the pilot side package once I relaized the fine quality and performance of these products. If you have a DJI Phantom or other signal transmitting/receiving device, then you have come to the right place!
