This antenna is based on the FPVLR half sphere helix antenna, and it will provide more consistent signal with your quad or plane being in any position vs the pilot. Linear Polarized antennas have to be lined up for best performance, so the TX antenna should be vertical and parallel to the receive antenna for best results. The CP antenna of this offering does not have any of those bad habits. You can just point in the general direction of flight and expect 3X improvement in range and much more consistent signal, “LOW SIGNAL WARNINGS” will be a thing of the past with this antenna.
WE are including a pre-tinned coaxial cable with rp-sma female to perform the mod to the Taranis Tx.

This is one of our most popular antennas, very high efficiency, 9dBi gain, 76 degrees beamwidth at -3 dB.
Easy to aim, tested good at 15+ km flights with tbs tuned lawmate tx. It performs like a 4.25 tuns, but with much smaller footprint.
The antenna weighs 50 grams, a full set of data is available from anechoic chamber testing for the more technical customers.
This antenna can be used for 2.4GHz analog video rx and tx, it can also be used to extend the rc radio control range.
