This is the new Pentalobe Wheel antenna with a 90° SMA connector.
The pattern is more favorable than a Pinwheel/SPW/CL , and gain is a bit higher too.

Custom made CP Pinwheel (SPW) antenna . These antennas are individually tuned to your frequency. They feature 1.2:1 SWR , gain 1.7 dbic.

These outperform all CL type antennas, as they have higher gain and better multipath rejection.

10km at 10 meters altitutde is possible with this antenna and a matching Pinwheel on the plane, or 20-30 km are possible with much more altitude (around 1000 meters)

This is a great light and compact everyday antenna. With 7.5- 9 dbi gain it's a great compromise when space is a problem. The antenna has been tested to 14km* (*using 500mw lawmate tx and lawmate rx with saw filter mod), and so it should be good for most pilots who just need to do Aerial Video and/or Photography at distances around 8-10 km in total safety
