I ordered these antennas for my Phantom 2 Vision. They work fantastic. I went from 900 feet distance with video to over two thousand feet with just the pilot side being modded. Excellent craftsmanship, well worth the money.

Once I received the kit I had it all installed in about an hour. Other than having some glue on the board everything was very strait forward. After install I was able to get 2500 feet range on the best preview quality. After installing the amps for both the 2.4 and 5.8 side I was easily getting 1 mile plus. I always get comments and questions on the antennas since most people have never seen antennas like this. They perform incredibly but look fantastic as well. There may be other brands out there that get you close to the distance of these but I guarantee that there isn’t another company that makes antennas that look like they were designed by apple. In my opinion having they look loke jewery for your tx! Tony has also been awesome with customer service and making things right even when things have happened outside of his control. From now on I will not be looking at any other supplier for long range antennas.

I purchased these antennae for my Phantom Vision+ after reading about them from others on Phantompilots.com. I am a relative newcomer to this hobby and purchased this after owning my Phantom about a month. I received them within about 7 days of ordering them. They were well packaged and came to me in excellent condition. Using the videos that were posted on Youtube, I was able to do the install in about 30 minutes and that was because I had never opened the Phantom before and was not familiar with things and was being very careful. I noticed an immediate increase in range from about 1000 feet to more than 3000 feet. I actually don’t know the limit because at this point, I’m more concerned about battery life than control/video range. Tony has been very generous by answering my quick questions I’ve sent to him by email.
The product and service is excellent. I highly recommend.

I purchased and installed the pilot and bird side antenna modifications to my phantom two vision plus. I did it for short range rock solid video and flight control. It was hugely successful. What made it successful was Tony’s willingness to answer my questions. Nowhere else was anyone anywhere near as helpful. This is the only place for the serious purchaser of custom made antennas to go.

Received the kit and was blown away by the quaility of the parts. Everything is neatly packaged and is built to very high standards. I was able to install this kit in about an hour ( thanks to watching the videos tony has put online) I now get farther ranges and now can use the highest preview settings on the phantom 2vision plus with no problems.

Fantastic antennas and 1st class customer service. Can now go out to 1 mile comfortably at max resolution with rock solid video. Would highly recommend this set up. Now, should I order that 5.8ghz booster…….why not!!

I purchased the pilots side stage 2 for my vision plus. I contacted Tony via email and he got me set up with all the right connectors. The antenna’s are high quality and the install was fairly easy. I now can range out to about a mile, probably more but far enough for me. Excellent product.

Works great! Installation was pretty simple. I’m not a pro at these things, but I do like to tinker around with stuff.
Range has increased considerably. I didn’t get great range in my area to begin with lots of interference and combating signals I think, but this about doubled it to about 800m.

I ordered the stage 2 set fast delivery even in Holland I mounted them in a hour easy, my range went from 400 meters to 1500 and the video was rock solid I need to look for another place to test the max distance.

I was really surprised with quick response from Tony from FPVLR, and his attitude to my questions. Tony proposed me exactly the set that I needed, he recommended the best choice for my needs and requirements.
I installed all antennas using video recommendations from FPVLR on youtube and I had not any questions, really clear and understandable videoguide.
The set of antennas and amplifiers is really perfect for my P2V: on the first day I reached altitude 1600 m without any hints for connection breaks in control and video signal (before upgrade I had permanent connection break at altitude 350 m).
I really enjoy with my set and can strongly recommend it to any P2V fan.
Only one advice: it`s good idea to install on your copter gpstracker or radiobeacon, because with such kind of possibilities there is a risk to lost your copter somewhere on 5+km distance )).

I ordered the Stage 2 Kit a week before the new version was released. The installation was straight forward and directions provided in the link were invaluable. Once installed on my Phantom Vision+ controller I noticed an immediate payoff. FPV video was smooth, crisp and never dropped on my iPhone. The bird (stock antennas) was more responsive at distances that I was unable to achieve before. Cannot wait to upgrade the bird side with new fpvlr antennas.

Just installed the stage 2 kit for my phantom vision 2 plus a week ago. In places where I used to get about 500-700 foot max range I now get a signal at 1400-1600 (inner city houston at crowded parks/stadiums). Max distance I was able to take it was 2100′ @ an altitude of appx. 120′ (clear LOS in a very developed suburb of Houston). I could see myself reaching twice that distance in a remote area with little interference. Regardless, I am getting 2-4 times the distance I was getting before so I’m happy.
The one CON I will say is that the video/written instructions are not perfect. There was some trial and error involved and unless you have at least an average level of "handiness", I would be wary of purchasing this product.

I purchased mine just before the new version came out. Even though my antennas are separate and I needed to build a holder for them the antennas more than do the job. The new design will make installation easy. Very nice increase in both FPV and control distance. Antennas show quality construction and should last a long time. Not the least expensive ones on the market, but will worth the investment. So good I also upgraded the quad for even more distance.

Really impressed with the remote control and video range improvement. It was an easy installation for the remote controller. Had no problems at all following the YouTube installation video. Video does not drop at ranges before the antenna upgrade was installed.

As you can see from the other reviews, this is an awesome addition to a P2V. I echo the positive things that others have said. I can send my P2V+ out on some very long range flights. This stage 2 tripled my stock range!! I have since added the bird-side 2.4GHz kit and the 2.4Ghz amplifier. This stage 2 is a great place to start — BUT I WILL WARN YOU — this can be very addictive (in a good way). Enjoy

I received my State 2 kit and completed the full install within two hours. All I have to says is "Wow!" what a difference. before the upgrade I would loose video as soon as the P2V+ went around the tree (in my front yard). After the install, I am able to fly down the block and onto the next with no video or transmitter loss. I say it is well worth the money spent.

I must say, the reviews and referrals sold me on this product. I was getting roughly 700-850 feet with my stock setup in my neighborhood. I was surrounded by trees, power lines, and tons of wifi networks from homes. I got this set up, installed it (under an hour), flew in the same pattern as before, and got to about 1,800 feet! For me, that was double from before, so I was happy. After working with Tony and his expertise, I took it to a river house, flew with great LOS, and had PERFECT VIDEO and control signal until 3,300 feet! I was so happy with the turnout! Video nor controller lost signal, and when I did, the bird flew right back into range. For the price, it’s worth the gains! I will be upgrading again soon to a higher stage, 3 or 4, and will write another review as I already know I will get even farther than ever before!

I purchased the Phantom 2 Vision + to be used in documenting the progress of my construction projects. I quickly learned that the components of our construction i.e. concrete, rebar, tower cranes etc… caused a great deal of range reduction for the video and the control of the P2V+. I have been completely blown away by the array of products offered by FPVLR. I am not at all an RC guy, and therefore have little to no knowledge of any of it. Tony has been fantastic in walking me through what I needed and how to install and make it work. The quality of the products are amazing. My use of drones in the construction industry is just beginning and I am looking forward to a long relationship with FPVLR!

Initially bought ‘Stage 2’ (‘Pilot-side’) for my ‘Phoenix 2 Vison Plus’, since i kept running "out of range" after about 1,000 ft.
Very impressed with the service and Tony’s ‘hands-on knowledge; emails questions from me received prompt replies from Tony! Surely a novelty in these days of ‘How-much-dollars-can-we-squeeze-out-of-the-customer’ mindset of soo many companies!

This kit does exactly what i expected it to do and then some….
My usual flying radius has never been great as i am in a bit of a valley with lots of obstructions, usually i get around 350m before return to home kicks in. First flight out on a cloudy day i achieved 1.2k @ 200m, next flight was a nice sunny day and i went out to 1.32k at around 200m. Gotta say that is an awesome improvement and am very happy with the results.
Going to take it out this weekend to a new flying spot with no hills and great line of site and see what this kit can really do..

I first saw this site because you want to maximize cruising phantom. I was a little hesitant to buy because generally several stores in the USA do not serve my country to the sale. Turns fpvlr.com can lead to the entrance of my house in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Its products are carefully wrapped and very professional. At the time of assembly is not found major problems and all went well. First try "Stage-2 Pilot Side" is able to roam almost 700 meters and a height of 200 meters with a high level of noise wifi around the city I live. Previously only can reach 300 m with a height of 60-100 m. Salute to a very significant increase in performance.

I purchased this kit to get better distance and control reliability then factory would allow for my phantom 2 vision plus. I also combined with the stage 3 a week later kit for the bird side mod to increase reliability beyond the stage 2 alone. Both antenna kits combined I was able to fly my phantom 9000 feet line of sight in distance. These antennas are very high quality and well made. I would recommend the kits to anyone looking to utilize the FPV function of their drone with out having to add extra batteries, receiver and booster hardware. Well worth every dime. These kits exceeded my expectations.

I tried software boosters and was disappointed in the results. I got the Stage 2 kit and was so excited I installed the antennas backwards with the holes on the wrong side of the wifi extender and the RC. Tony, was a big help (he did not mention how very stupid I was) and so I ended up flipping it around backwards with the extender indicator lights pointing out. and the connector on the left side of my RC instead of the right. It flies like a champ now and I am getting range beyond a mile. When the weather permits I will test the range to the limits. FPLVR is an incredible company that is filling a void in the market. This is by far the best money I have spent for my vision. I ordered a stage 2 kit and the results are amazing. I flew the distance set in my dji assistant software and the RTH function kicked in at a mile with 640×480 with full FPV. Before this upgrade I was lucky to get 3500 ft with tp link antennas @ 320×240 resolution. With this first flight with these antennas I surpassed that with ease I have not even installed my 2.4’s on the bird yet. HANDS DOWN THE BEST ANTENNAS ON THE MARKET RIGHT NOW. Customer service is excellent and the product and workmanship is unbelievable.

Ordered a Stage 2 kit and received it promptly here in Ontario, Canada. Installation was quite straight forward although the suggested installation tutorial video really only covers a small portion of what needs to be done (doesn’t mention the WiFi extender at all). That being said, it doesn’t take much to put 2 + 2 together and figure out what you need to do. Before the install I was getting around maaaaybe 500′ before I would lose video and/or control. I did a flight today (across a normal suburban neighbourhood packed full of WiFi) and reached somewhere around 1900′ before video started to drop out (I did still have control of the bird however!). Very impressive to say the least… I’m sure out in a quiet RF environment it would go even further. Now of course I have the itch to upgrade the bird side as well!

Per L’installazione ho perso circa 1 ora e mezza,abbastanza facile anche perche ho visto sia il video per l’installazione ma anche le foto messe da parte di Fpvlr.com.Ho un Dji phantom 2 vision,e riuscivo a fare 300-320 metri di FPV,adesso con la antenna Kit-2 sono riuscito a fare circa 800 metri di FPV,e la prova l’ho fatto appena installata l’antenna ,con il buio e in mezzo delle colline.Penso che in una zona libera sarà ancora meglio,devo ancora provarlo.Sono contento,soldi spesi bene :).

I ordered this kit on Monday the 5th of January 2015, I received the kit today Saturday the 10th. I installed the kit and did a test fly today to see if it made a difference. I repeated a flight that I did a couple of weeks ago. Before the kit, the best distance I got on this route was about 1500 feet at about 400ft elevation. Today I started from the same place and followed the same route. At 1500 ft and 400ft elevation the signal was still strong, so I kept going, at 3800ft the signal was still strong, but I returned it home because I was afraid I was going to run out of battery. I am going to experiment more to see how far it will go, but it looks like it at least tripled my distance.

Hi i receive this kit before 2 days..i installed it yesterday and today i went for fly..i m very exciting with the result. ..i was fly for 4000 feet distance and if i wanted i could go more but i choose come back in order to be save with the battery level…i can say that im more than happy for the result because my better distance before was 1500 an now 4000 and more…thnks fpvlr for tha amazing kit..if somebody think if that kit work just be sure….fpvlr A++++.THNKS

Previously with my P2V+, in the locations I fly, I could only get about 1000 ft with FPV (640 @ 15fps)…that includes using that FPV Booster app (which absolutely did nothing for me)
Now, with the Stage 2 kit I really don’t know the limits yet….I’ve gone 2500 ft with full FPV (640 @ 15fps) until I came across big power lines I didn’t want to cross over…and that was plenty far enough for me…I could barely see my bird.
No regrets except I didn’t do this sooner.

Installation is quite easy ,just need to be careful in taking out the epoxy in the controller.
Flew 3 times this morning at Jones Beach (NY) and hit the same limit of 3300 ft before getting "Phantom Connection Broken" .

I was sent to Tony from the guys over at drone neards..before talking to dron neards I had already seen FPVLR.com but never gave it any thought. but luckly the guys over at drone neard told me that the FPVLR was located in Boca which is just a short ride from Miami. I met Tony and I gotta say one of the coolest and most honest guys I’ve met in the this hobby. He ask me from the start what was I trying to achieve and I told him distance..he then introduce me to the stage 2 ….I was reaching out to about 1200 feet and now im getting about 2772 feet in my neighborhood which is near Sun Life Stadium which I might add has terrible interference with radio and tv towers..can’t wait to take out to the beach to test my range. Next step Boosters and maybe the bird. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND FPVLR IF DISTANCE IS WHAT U WANT.
