I was really surprised with quick response from Tony from FPVLR, and his attitude to my questions. Tony proposed me exactly the set that I needed, he recommended the best choice for my needs and requirements.
I installed all antennas using video recommendations from FPVLR on youtube and I had not any questions, really clear and understandable videoguide.
The set of antennas and amplifiers is really perfect for my P2V: on the first day I reached altitude 1600 m without any hints for connection breaks in control and video signal (before upgrade I had permanent connection break at altitude 350 m).
I really enjoy with my set and can strongly recommend it to any P2V fan.
Only one advice: it`s good idea to install on your copter gpstracker or radiobeacon, because with such kind of possibilities there is a risk to lost your copter somewhere on 5+km distance )).

I was able to mount this amplifier on the transmitter itself. What a difference. I am no longer worried about losing my drone. I have done as far as 8000 feet one way, and I have not lost control. Great product.

I did alot of research before I purchased the package from Fpvlr.com and found that there were many different combinations and options that may work for me. I needed a recommendation from a group of experts like fpvlr.com and traded several emails with them before purchasing. I quickly realized that fpvlr.com was only selling products that they personally tested and trusted. I have purchased multiple products and kits of multiple products and all of them have worked very well. I have the long range antenna kits for the Yuneec and DJI and both have more than doubled the stock range. I recently asked about adding an external antenna to the Q500 and they recommended that It would not be easy and the q500 bird antenna as delicate and easy to damage. I trust their opinion and will wait to see if they come out with something similar to the DJI. Thanks fpvlr

I installed this to complete my antenna mod for my q500. It works well so far. I’ve gotten out over 2k’ and I’m able to fly around, not just a straight line, which is great. I’m sure I could go much further if I need to but I haven’t yet. What I do notice though is that I must stay at least 15′ or so away from the bird when starting up my tx and bird for flight, or else the 5.8 won’t connect and I don’t get video feed from the camera on the bird. Once I step back a ways it connects fine. Not sure if that’s because of signal overload or the radiation pattern itself being a factor. Otherwise, the whole mod makes flying my q500 fun all over again!
